Tonight was a combo regular guild meeting and rescheduled resolution party with 35 in attendance. Thank you to Jan Gitz and the social committee for planning and preparing a lovely dinner. After dinner we went around the room and everyone told their New Year’s resolutions. Most of these related to hooking more and finishing UFO’s. If we keep our resolutions we will have a lot of projects completed this year.
Jenny Gray began the meeting by discussing the treasurer’s report. The 2017 Calendar of Events was discussed and the following corrections were made to the calendar. Demonstrating rug hooking at Warmonger Park is September 16th and the Wool Gathering at Young’s Dairy Farm is September 16th and 17th.
We were reminded that in case of bad weather and Kettering Schools are closed on the day of our meeting that the church will be closed and our meeting cancelled. Annual dues are due now to remain a member The final deadline is the February 23rd guild meeting.
